1. Write the expressions of offering help as much as three expressions, please!
    Answer:

   To inform the reader, listeners or viewers about events of the day which are considered         newsworthy or important.
4. What are the generic structures of news item text?
    - Newsworthy event(s) : recounts the events in summary form.
    - Background events : elaborate what happened to whom, in what circumstances.
        - Sources : comments by participants in, witnesses to and authorities expert on the event.
5. Write two language features of news item text, please!
    -   Use of past tense
·        -   Use of passive voice
         -   Use of action verb
6. Write the examples of conditional sentences you know type 1, 2, and 3 after that you            write their facts, please
  1. Conditional one - to express a simple statement of fact or intent
    • I will buy a new car if I win the lottery.
    • I will go home if you don't stop criticizing me.
    • You will fail your exams if you don't start working harder.
    • She will lose all her friends if she continues to talk about them behind their backs.

  2. Conditional two - to refer to a present unreal situation or to a situation in the future that the speaker thinks is unlikely to happen
    • If I had a lot of money, I would buy a new car. (but I don't have a lot of money)
    • If I were you, I would tell him you're sorry. (but I am not you)
    • If I won the lottery, I would buy a new house. (but I don't expect to win the lottery)

  3. If it snowed tomorrow, we would go skiing. (but I don't have much hope that it will snow)

  4. Conditional three - to refer to the past and situations that did not happen
    • If it had snowed yesterday, we would have gone skiing. (but it didn't snow, so we didn't go skiing)
    • If you had studied harder, you would have passed your test. (but you didn't study hard, so you didn't pass your test)
    • If I had known that, I would have told you. (but I didn't know, so I didn't tell you)
    • If she hadn't been driving slowly, she would have had an accident. (but she was driving slowly, so she didn't have an accident)

    To describe how to make something

9. Write two language features of procedure text, please!
- Focus on generalized special agent
- Use of present tense
- Use of material process
10. What is the topic and main idea of the paragraph below? Give your reason why you say        it, please!
      "Summer is a wonderful time to spend at West Beach. It is a beach with light-               colored, soft sand. The  coastline goes on for a long way and many people                   enjoy walking along it. Children like to play in the surf and walk along the rocks           that are visible at low tide. This is a fun beach for people of all ages. "
   • The topic is West Beach
   • The main idea (what the writer is saying about the topic) is that summer is a wonderful            time at West Beach.
